Our 2019 Thanksgiving Basket Drive was a tremendous success! I wish to express my sincerest gratitude for the efforts of so many, for close to 400 families received a bountiful Thanksgiving meal.
I am very grateful for Neighbor Network’s partnership with the Howard County Association of Realtors (HCAR) and for the numerous donors who participated in our Thanksgiving Basket Drive. In addition to the overwhelming support of HCAR, I want to thank Tri City Hockey, Folly Quarter Middle School, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbia(UUCC), Glenelg High School’s Boys Soccer Team, West Friendship Livestock 4H, and all of the individual donors.
The recipients of your generous baskets were families referred by the Howard County Public School System, HCPSS Blessings in a Basket, Bridges to Housing Stability of Howard County, the Howard County Multiservice Center, The ARC of Howard County, Johns Hopkins Bay View Child Psychiatry Outreach Program and The Choice Program.
