Thank you to all those who participated in Neighbor Network’s 2018 Christmas Adopt-A-Family Program.

A total of 81 families were sponsored, with a total of 364 individuals receiving gifts.

Our donors were very busy this year bringing joy to families. A total of 10 bikes were provided to children, as well as countless other wonderful gifts for families to open on Christmas morning. A generous donor paid off a family’s outstanding BG&E bill, in addition to giving a high school student a fully paid Driver's Education Class. A single mother with 6 children was placed in a motel for several days, after Neighbor Network learned of the family sleeping in their vehicle. This family was later placed in housing.

The holidays are a wonderful time for giving and I truly appreciate that you chose to give to the families supported by Neighbor Network’s Adopt-A-Family Program. Your continued faith and support of Neighbor Network and its mission, to help those less fortunate, is truly heartwarming.

The Agencies supported by our Christmas Adopt A Family Program were the following:

Bridges to Housing Stability of Howard County

The Howard County Multiservice Center

The Howard County Public School System

Johns Hopkins Bay View Child Psychiatry
