How you can HELP the Homeless During COVID-19 Pandemic!

Neighbor Network is working to support the homeless population of Howard County during this COVID-19 pandemic.  The directive to “shelter in place” is difficult when you don’t have a shelter to stay in. Many are living in tent cities or sleeping in their vehicles here in Howard County. Now more than ever it’s important for this population to stay clean and healthy.

Poverty Speaker Series

This program shines a light on the issue of poverty and homelessness and promotes a discussion between students and individuals who have directly experienced these issues. A panel of speakers share their stories, providing an opportunity for students to get a glimpse into the lives of someone who has experienced homelessness. The opportunity to meet and ask questions of these individuals has made a tremendous impact on the students.

"Our mission is to network with the community in bringing resources to those in need and bring awareness of the issue of poverty to the community through education and volunteer opportunities"
